About IfPC

Initiatives for Progressive Change (IfPC) is a youth-led organization advancing inclusive governance, peacebuilding, SRHR advocacy, and community development across marginalized regions in Kenya.

Position Summary

IfPC is seeking a creative and motivated Communications Volunteer to support content creation, digital engagement, and storytelling. This voluntary role is ideal for individuals passionate about media, advocacy, and social impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create visual and multimedia content (posters, graphics, videos)
  • Manage and support social media platforms
  • Support storytelling, documentation, and digital campaigns
  • Assist in coverage of events, dialogues, and community activities
  • Support communication strategies and outreach efforts

Qualifications & Skills
  • Interest in Communications, Media, Journalism, or related fields.
  • Basic skills in graphic design, video editing, or content creation.
  • Good writing and storytelling ability Familiarity with social media platforms.
  • Creative, proactive, and willing to learn.

Position Summary

IfPC is seeking a committed and proactive Project Volunteer to support the planning, coordination, and implementation of community-based projects.
This voluntary (unpaid) role is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in development work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and implementation of project activities
  • Support community engagements, dialogues, and forums Collect data and document project activities and outcomes
  • Support report writing and activity tracking Coordinate logistics for meetings, trainings, and events
  • Follow up on action points with stakeholders and community groups
  • Support monitoring, evaluation, and learning processes

Qualifications & Skill

  • Background or interest in Project Management, Development Studies, Social Sciences, or related fields.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic report writing and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work with communities and diverse stakeholders Proactive, reliable, and willing to learn
